Il laboratorio UniBg Eye-Tracking Lab è dotato di una serie di hardware e software di ultima generazione che consentono ai ricercatori del Dipartimento di Lingue, Letterature e Culture Straniere di svolgere diverse letture biometriche. La combinazione di diversi sensori e fonti di dati consente di comprendere in modo più chiaro, sistematico e incisivo il comportamento umano e le reazioni che l'uomo mostra davanti a diversi stimoli visivi (e.g. testi scritti, immagini, materiale multimediale).
Il laboratorio è dotato di una postazione fissa e di una postazione mobile (quest’ultima consente una ricerca sul campo, all’esterno dell’Università).
I software, i lettori biometrici e l'hardware a disposizione, consentono le seguenti attività:
• Progettazione dello studio all'interno e tra soggetti randomizzati
• Presentazione di stimoli (caratteristiche multimediali tra cui immagini, video, siti Web live, sondaggi, applicazioni per telefoni cellulari, interfacce software, giochi, VR)
• Raccolta dati (gestione dei partecipanti, visualizzazione in tempo reale, metriche comportamentali)
• Markup e annotazioni (creazione di marcatori live o post-elaborazione con annotazioni)
• Analisi dei dati, esportazione e importazione dei dati
• Face Camera per registrare il volto dell'intervistato
• Programmare e avviare sondaggi congiuntamente o separatamente dalla ricerca biometrica

The UniBg Eye-Tracking Lab is equipped with a set of new-generation hardware and software that allows researchers from the Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures to carry out various biometric readings. The combination of different sensors and data sources allows researchers to understand human behavior in a clearer, more systematic and incisive way, focusing on the reactions humans show to an array of different visual stimuli (e.g. written texts, images and various multimedia material).
The laboratory is equipped with a fixed working station and a mobile station (the mobile station allows field research, outside the University).
The software, biosensors and hardware available allow the following activities:
• Study Design within and between randomized subjects
• Presentation of stimuli (multimedia features including images, videos, live websites, surveys, mobile phone applications, software interfaces, games, VR)
• Data collection (participant management, real-time visualization, behavioral metrics)
• Markups and Annotations (creation of live or post-processing markers with annotations)
• Data analysis, data export and import
• Face Camera to record the respondent's face
• Schedule and initiate surveys jointly or separately from biometric research
