The library's assets reflect the variety of interests, teaching and research areas active in the faculties, characterised by the size of the language and literature collections within which the English, French, German, Russian and Spanish literature sections are of particular importance. 

The Library has about 120,000 volumes and receives over 600 journals by subscription. 

In the reading room an extensive selection of the collections is kept on open shelves.
