The Joint Committee is a proposal-making, advisory and steering body, composed of both teaching staff and students, with the following functions:

• monitoring, with appropriate evaluation indicators, the educational offer, the quality of teaching and student service activities
• delivering opinions on the activation and discontinuation of courses of study
• preparing an annual report to be forwarded to the Quality Presidium and to the Evaluation Board, in which it expresses its evaluations and formulates proposals for improving the quality and effectiveness of the educational offer
• disseminating the University's quality policies to students
• expressing opinions and proposals on all matters concerning teaching that the governing bodies of the Department submit for its consideration.
